Cake Stack

A cake stand on a sunny picnic blanket, and layer after layer of sponge, jam and cream sliding in from the sides. Drop each one right on top: whatever hangs over gets sliced off, so your cake gets narrower as it climbs past the trees and into the clouds. Land three perfect in a row and it grows back.

How to play

Tap, click or press Space to drop the sliding layer. Layers come in from left and right in turn. Any part hanging over the edge is sliced off, so the next layer is smaller. A layer dropped right in line keeps its full size, and from the third perfect in a row each one grows the cake back a little. Miss the cake completely and it’s toppled. How tall can you bake it?
